It is with great sadness that we at Tarkington, O’Neill, Barrack, and Chong share the news of the death of our founder, colleague, and good friend Chris Tarkington.  Chris passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 23, 2020. Those who knew Chris will remember him as a relentless advocate, and a jovial and good-natured friend.  His greatest satisfaction in life came from the love of his family, the service he rendered to his clients, and his devotion to the practice of law.

Chris will be missed greatly by all in the firm.

Chris A. Tarkington had over 30 years experience practicing in both State and Federal Courts in California. He was an AV rated attorney (Martindale-Hubbell), a member of various defense counsel associations and was a member of the Court of Appeal, First District Panel of Mediators.
